Steve Carell

As a correspondent from 1999 until 2005, Steve Carell debated the most pressing intellectual questions of our day with Stephen Colbert in "Even Stevphen," pioneered fruit- and vegetable-related journalism as "Produce Pete" and he once ate Crisco at the desk. A native of Concord, Massachusetts, Carell began performing with Chicago's Second City improv troupe in 1991. He went on to become a cast member of "The Dana Carvey Show," appearing alongside fellow future correspondent Stephen Colbert. After leaving fake-news journalism in 2005, Carell began a long run as Michael Scott on NBC's hit sitcom "The Office," a role for which he won a Golden Globe Award, a Screen Actors Guild Award and a Television Critics Association Award. His film roles include "The 40-Year-Old Virgin," "Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy," "Little Miss Sunshine," "Date Night," "Crazy, Stupid, Love" and the animated series of movies "Despicable Me."
