Dan Bakkedahl

Dan Bakkedahl served as a correspondent from 2005 to 2007. A graduate of the Florida State University School of Theater, Bakkedahl has worked extensively in theatre across the country, including a five year stint with The Second City in Chicago. During his time with The Second City, Bakkedahl wrote and performed in the 90th revue "Doors Open on the Right." He is also a founding member of the groundbreaking improv groups ZUMPF, 4 Square, and Train Wreck at the Chicago comedy club, The iO Theater (formerly Improv Olympic, thanks to the IOC). Bakkedahl's voice can be heard on the video game "Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks." He is the lightening bolt tossing Raiden. Bakkedahl's television credits include roles on "Curb Your Enthusiasm," "Community," "Veep," and the FX series "Legit." He is originally from Rochester, New York.
